Mission
Because the future doesn't belong only to those who understand AI. It belongs to those who can consciously choose, connect, collaborate, learn, lead and create meaning.
A house is more than a place. It's a space where something can come into being.
Where people come together, share perspectives, learn and experiment. Where you can slow down for a moment and get moving again. Where difference is welcome and connection can grow.
Research shows how meaningful places can contribute to a sense of safety, connection and wellbeing. We carry that idea with us, even when our meeting place doesn't literally consist of four walls.
House of Human Intelligence wants to be such a place.
Not an institute that proclaims a single truth, but a house with different rooms, perspectives and practices. A place where we share knowledge, develop human capacities and jointly care for what we create: for ourselves, for each other, for organizations and for what comes after us.
What makes us different?
The Circle
Ida is senior in content and experience. Around her, a circle of coaches and partners who help carry the house is growing step by step.
“I guide people and organizations to root themselves in their own rhythm, so they can grow, flourish and move from authenticity and inspiration.”
Change rarely happens just by knowing more.
Ida Veldeman has been guiding people, leaders, teams and organizations through growth and change for twenty years. Drawing on her background in psychology\/educational sciences and anthropology, she combines expertise in coaching, leadership, group dynamics and organizational development with a body-oriented, trauma-informed perspective.
Her starting point is simple: we don't change just by understanding something better. Our body, our relationships and the systems we're part of all play a role. That's why Ida looks at what happens within people, what arises between people, and what's in motion in teams and organizations.
She has worked at, among others, Ghent University, and for many years developed and taught programmes on teams, organizational design, coaching and group dynamics at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, where she is also a supervisor affiliated with the Leadership Expertise Centre.
In her individual coaching work, she deepened her expertise in areas including Somatic Experiencing, IFS, embodied coaching, polyvagal theory and breathwork. Within organizations, she works on leadership, collaboration, psychological safety, culture and change.
Her style? Warm and clear, curious and unafraid of friction. With attention to what the head understands, what the body tells us, what happens between people, and what the bigger picture needs.
Not knowing more as an endpoint, but gaining more room to see, choose and act differently.
